Overview
[BUSINESS NAME] ("we", "us") provides websites and business systems services to small businesses in North Wales. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum information needed to respond to enquiries and deliver our services. We never sell your data.
This policy covers this website. If we work with you as a client, we'll agree separately in writing how we handle any of your business's data we come into contact with.
Who we are
[BUSINESS NAME], North Wales, United Kingdom.
Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL]
For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect
Contact form submissions. Your name, business name, email address or phone number, and the message you send us. We use this to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track you across other websites. The data we see is aggregated — we cannot identify individual visitors from it.
Operational data. Standard server and security logs generated by our hosting provider, needed to keep the site available and protect it from attack.
Why we're allowed to use it (lawful basis)
- Contact form: legitimate interest — you contacted us and expect a reply. If we go on to work together, we process your details to perform our contract with you.
- Analytics and security logs: legitimate interest in understanding and protecting our own website, using tools chosen specifically because they do not track individuals.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request. If you don't become a client, we delete the enquiry within 12 months. If you do, we keep records for as long as we work together, and afterwards for six years where we need to for tax and accounting purposes.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Who else touches your data
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this site. They process data only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, email routing, and website analytics
- Resend — sends us the email generated by the contact form
We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics or marketing cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes, which don't require your consent under UK law. That's why you won't see a cookie banner here.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your data
- stop or limit how we use it
- object to our use of it
Email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Where your data is held
Our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they operate under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.
